How does a mobile mechanic gift certificate work?
You choose an amount, who it's for, and how it's delivered. The recipient gets a code - either emailed instantly as a PDF, or a physical certificate you pick up or have mailed. They enter the code at booking and the amount comes straight off their total, for any of our mobile oil change, diagnostic, or mechanic services.
What if the certificate doesn't cover the whole job?
No problem - it applies as a partial payment and the customer pays the difference. And if a booking costs less than the certificate's balance, the leftover amount stays on the certificate for a future booking - it's a real prepaid balance, not a use-it-all-or-lose-it voucher.
Does the gift certificate expire?
Certificates are valid for 36 months from the day they're activated (as soon as payment is received).
Can I pay with Afterpay?
Yes - card and Afterpay are both accepted at checkout, alongside bank transfer if you'd rather arrange it that way.
Is a physical gift certificate posted to me?
You can choose pickup (free) or mailing (a small flat postage fee) when you buy - or go fully digital and skip postage altogether.
Do I need to show the certificate when the mechanic arrives?
We check the certificate code and balance before starting any work, so please keep your copy - electronic or physical - on hand for your appointment.
